Did you know lemmings in the summer are brown but in the winter are all white? They are small mouse-like animals.  Lemmings’ white coats help them to hide from the snowy owl and other predators that depend on it for food.  They live under ground and eat bugs and plants.  There is snow almost everywhere in the Arctic.  There are a lot of mountains where they live too.  There are some ponds.  They drink a lot of water a day.  I think Lemmings are really cool.
