	Digital storytelling combines the art of storytelling with technology.  Digital stories include photographs, images, music, sound and the voice of the writer.       Bernajean Porter, defines digital storytelling on her Digitales: The Art of Digital Stories  website as:
		"Digital Storytelling takes the ancient art of oral storytelling and engages a palette of technical tools to weave personal tales using images, graphics, music, and sound mixed together with the author's own story voice."
	Digital Storytelling is defined on the Education Uses of Digital Storytelling website as:
		"There are many different definitions of "digital storytelling." but in general, all of them revolve around the idea of combining the longstanding art of telling stories with any of a variety of available multimedia tools, including graphics, audio, video animation, and Web publishing."
