This web page is dedicated to all those intrepid travelers who sit in the lanes of traffic, beating the highways and byways and espy those small circular or oval signs with a few cryptic initials on them and wonder what they mean. Most of the ovals are the initials for favorite geographical locations. The GeoOvals web pages will attempt to answer those burning questions and document the locations these GeoOvals represent.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you know of a valid GeoOval and the geographical location (country, state or province and city) kindly send it to me from a working email address and the GeoOval will be considered for posting in alphabetical order on this site. To help eliminate SPAM, please use the subject line of GeoOval with no other words otherwise the email may be eliminated by the SPAM filter.
If you dispute a notation on this site, send information regarding that as well and an attempt to validate the information will be made. As a matter of intellectual honesty, please refrain from sending an item for which you have not actually seen a GeoOval; thank you!
